The President is discussing over CUSM in Zippo with the
Dean of the
Faculty of Education
from the
University of Oulu, Alma Mater of the President.
The demo was organized in the connection of inauguration of new main
building in the
Campus 7.2.1995. In the background Mr. Palomäki the former rector, Mr. Taanonen director
of the Computer Centre and Mr. Jakobsson the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting
and Industrial Management.

as an answer to our message reporting the visit and inviting the world to another demo session in Zippo
to the Cornell University's CUSM mailing-list:

What a delightful bit of news. I am the original developer of CU-SeeMe,
and my mother is 100% Finnish (Lehto was her maiden name, and she was
raised near Kaleva, Michigan; everyone had a sauna and I recall rolling
naked in the snow afterwards with it feeling like sand because the shock
was apparently outside the range of normal skin sensation). Anyway, I
can't wait to tell her that the President of Finland used my program! Hope
you find it useful in the future. Hope I can get a bit of cross-country
skiing in this afternoon. Spring is just around the corner.
