ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
EXCHANGE STUDENTS
The University of Vaasa does not have any special admission requirements for students who are coming to Vaasa through an interuniversity exchanqe programme (e.g. ERASMUS). The documents these students need to enclose with their application are stated in the application form for exchange students.EXTRA STUDENTS
Those, who are not participating in any exchange programme, are able to apply for admission as an extra student in case they are already enrolled at another university. They need to submit a certificate of enrolment at the home university, a cer tificate of their knowledge of languages, an official transcript of university records, CV, and a Letter of Motivation. All study programmes included in this handbook require a knowledge of English but in order to apply for language studies one should have a knowledge of Finnish or Swedish as well. Other documents needed are stated in the application form for extra students. In the study programme „International Programme for Finance¾ a Bachelor¼s degree is required. Application deadline for study programmes that begin in the autumn term is at the end of April annually. Deadline for programmes held during the spring term is at the end of October annually.DEGREE STUDENTS
