CREDITS
![]()
Finnish universities have a system of credits for studies on the undergraduate and graduate levels. One credit refers to an input of pproximately 40 hours of work required of the student for the attainment of set objectives. Lecture hours, exercises, seminars and other forms of instruction as well as independent research are all regarded as work. The credit system is, of course, only indicative, the work needed for one credit may vary a lot. One Finnish university credit is, in most cases, equivalent to 1,5 ECTS credits.
