Scandinavian Business Studies

The Scandinavian Business Studies programme is a full-time, multidisciplinary programme designed to give the participants an overview of Finnish and Scandinavian economic life. The programme takes place during one term. Through participants an overview of Finnish and Scandinavian economic life. The programme takes place during one term. Through parcitipating in the programme the students will get the basic knowledge needed when operating in the Scandinavian business markets.

This programme is intended exclusively for students who want to study Scandinavian economic life.

  • Scandinavian Management and Organization (3 cr)
  • Marketing in Scandinavia (3 cr)
  • Introduction to Finnish and Scandinavian Law and Legal Culture (3 cr)
  • The Finnish Economy in a European Perspec tive (3 cr)
  • Economic Geography of Scandinavian Count ries and Finland (3 cr)

    Optional Language Courses:

  • Finnish for Foreigners I (2 cr)
  • Swedish for Foreigners, a Reading Comprehesion Course (2 cr)
  • Other Scandinavian language courses
