The programme is intended for Scandinavian and non-Scandinavian students of Scandinavian languages and for other students with a knowledge of Swedish. Thw base of this course is using Swedish and the role of Swedish in society.
Multilingualism is approached from linguistic, didactic, historical, onomastic, dialectological and cultural-historical points of view.
The studies also compare the differences between all languages used in Scandinavia.

FINNISH FOR FOREIGNERES I
Elemetary Finnish phonetics, morphology, syntax and vocabulary for beginners. Oral and written exercises in class and in language laboratory. Short introduction to Finnish culture.
FINNISH FOR FOREIGNERES II
The course is intended for foreign students who want to continue their Finnish studies. The emphasis is on grammar, reading techniques and language production.
SWEDISH FOR FOREIGNERS - A READING COMPREHENSION COURSE
The course is intended for foreign students who want to learn and understand Swedish texts representing their own fields of study; no previous knowledge of Swedish is required. the emphasis is on reading techniques and recognising central structures of the Swedish language. Small talk exercises. Languages of instruction: English and Swedish.
