TIME AND PLACE
The course will begin on Tuesday 1st August and it will end on Friday 25th August.
The classes will take place in the Palosaari campus area at the University of Vaasa. Classrooms are in the Fabriikki building on the 4th floor. There is the restaurant Cotton Club in the same building and the Mathilda in the main building. In these restaurants you can have an unexpensive lunch (c. 2-5 euros). Remember to take your Student Card with you!
The course includes 60 hours of intensive education. It means that usually we will study about 4-5 hours a day. One lesson takes 45 minutes.
In addition to classroom education, in the afternoons and in the evenings we will visit many interesting places. The experts in different branches will tell us about different features of Finnish culture.
During
the course we will also have a whole day excursion to the province
surrounding Vaasa. Of course studying the Finnish language will
also continue in the evenings and in the spare time, since now you
will have a very good opportunity to talk Finnish in natural situations.
In the end of the course there will be a written exam.
