Aims
to function as a PORTA SCIENTIAE
by bringing together international experts on special language research
by furthering international cooperation
by developing new approaches to modern communication
by giving an opportunity for young researchers to test their thinking and to participate actively in communicating within their field
Languages
Participants may choose the language of presentation (including Latin) themselves but are urged to prepare good handouts in order to facilitate listening and discussion.
No interpreting will be given.
Information on conference arrangements will mostly be given in English.

Conference Programme
    The conference will include
  • keynote addresses; 60-minute sessions including 15 minutes for discussion;
  • paper presentations; 30-minute sessions including 10 minutes for discussion;
  • interactive poster sessions; time will be set aside for these;
  • colloquia proposed and organized by participants; 120-minute sessions. The colloquia will work as discussion groups with a restricted number of very short introductions.
Authors presenting papers are encouraged to use well-prepared visual displays and to activate the audience and stimulate discussion.

There will be four full working days from Monday to Friday; Wednesday will, as usual in this series, be a day reserved for social contacts between the participants during excursions and meetings. Everyday discussions over lunch with keynote speakers.
