TLTE2050. Telecommunication Electronics

This course concentrates on the main concepts of telecommunication electronics. The students study the major components and systems such as oscillators, Phase Locked Loops (PLL), and Filters. Matlab is extensively used in this course to demonstrate the operations of telecommunication systems.

The course contents:

• Signals Analysis

• Introduction to linear systems

• Oscillators and Phase Locked Loops

• Amplitude Modulation (AM)

• Radio Receivers

• Satellite Communication

• Frequency and Phase Modulation (FM & PM)

• Performance Analysis of AM, FM, and PM

• Principles of Digital Communication
