TLTE3060 RF Technology

Lecturer Mohammed Elmusrati

Introduction:

In this course we study the concepts of RF circuits and systems. At very high frequencies, the wavelength becomes comparable with the components and transmission lines dimensions. The conventional voltage-current analysis tools cannot be applied (as it is) anymore!

Course Contents:

·       Introduction to Electromagnetic and Maxwell’s Equations

·       Transmission line analysis

·       Smith Chart

·       Antennas and Propagation

·       Basic circuit analysis

·       Passive RF Component Modeling

·       Single and Multi-Port Networks
