Can you help with my problems with Garbo's mailing list?

Sorry, I really can't, since I am not familiar with the management of Garbo's general mailing list for the upload announcements. I only post upload announcements to it on occasion. I am a voluntary policy maker at Garbo archives on the side of my accounting and finance research and teaching profession. I am not Garbo's system manager. Garbo's system managing, including managing Garbo's general mailing list, is taken care in due time by whoever happens to be on the general system management duty at our university's Computer Centre. In fact, I do not even know when and if the mailing list is in operation. However, some information on the mailing list is available as GANN-INF.TXT.

On the other hand, there is another, exclusive mailing list for Garbo's long-time contributors, which I manage personally. If you are on that list, and have a problem with the exclusive mailing list, please let me know, so I can look if there is anything I can do about the problem.

Also please note that by the time you read this it is quite possible that one or both the mailing lists might no longer be in operation. If so, you should not be receiving any email from the list.

Would you please remove my address from Garbo's mailing list.

If you mean remove you from Garbo's regular mailing list, I am sorry, but I can't. I am not managing that list. I do not know how I could do the removing for you. All that I have on this is the reference GANN-INF.TXT.
