Dear Readers,

This is highly experimental and I do not know what will come of it. I have started a small way collection of banners with links mainly to shareware and related material. The experimental page is located at

    http://www.uwasa.fi/~ts/http/banners.html

What I am currently doing is seeing if I can find further, relevant material to that page to locate shareware and related services using a graphics rather than the ordinary text link format. A little in the vein of a banner exchange with Garbo archives, but that is not a prerequisite.

As you'll see, the banners would have preferably to be small (typically 88x31, 16 or 256 colors, .gif format) for quick loading. The banners in the second panel are exceptions which I had to use, since the preferable, smaller standard banners were not available. The third panel banners are special cases closely relating to Garbo archives.

If you are interested in reciprocating and using the Garbo banner on your own page, please proceed e.g. as follows. Please, do not link to the image over the net, but first download it to your own site. To transfer an image to your own computer in e.g. Netscape, move the cursor onto the image, click the right mouse button, and choose "Save Image As...". After that please make a link like:
